PEM basically eliminated after starting pycnogenol

I started taking pycnogenol about three weeks ago and I immediately started feeling better. I've been dealing with severe fatigue for about 6 months after crashing badly in late June/early July. I've also had POTS gradually set in during this time.

Pretty soon after starting the pycnogenol, I had an exertion event that I was sure was gonna make me crash, but lo and behold the next day I felt fine. It became clear to me that my body is very deconditioned, but I can now do aerobic exercise several times per week and light household chores with no consequence except making sure not to overdo it because I'm still reconditioning. For the past several months I had been on a steady decline, even having to get a shower chair and showering only a couple times a week. The rest of the time I spent laying on my couch feeling awful.

I still have lingering digestive issues that seem pretty in line with gastroparesis, but that is my last remaining issue. It's been like a night and day switch between being laid up all the time feeling like death to quickly progressing in my workouts, and even vacuuming and mopping.

I read two studies shortly before trying the pycnogenol that found endothelial dysfunction in the small blood vessels of long covid patients with POTS, which inspired me to try the pycnogenol because it increases nitric oxide production and helps the blood vessels dilate. Once I took it, it's almost like I could feel it kicking in as soon as my body digested it and that constant ache of feeling like my muscles were starved of oxygen went away. My thinking suddenly got clearer.

I know I'm not 100% yet but I'm very encouraged by the drastic change in my health after trying so many things that didn't work.
