2 day attempt at keeping up with curly hair

Any suggestions on doing a better refresh and getting more volume at the top and in the back? You can see in the second day picture on the right I just have a strand of hair that has no curl, that’s what the top of the back of my hair looks like. Both days, I just washed my hair like normal. For the products and the diffuser I flipped my hair upside down and scrunched it in. I have satin pillow cases but I didn’t wear a bonnet to bed. Products day 1 (blue circle on my face) L’Oréal Everpure volume shampoo and conditioner Mielle leave-in conditioner Moptop curly custard Pureology volume mousse Diffuser

Products day 2 (pink circle on my face) Less of everything from day 1 except I didn’t use the L’Oréal shampoo and conditioner. I did let my hair just get wet from a shower, I didn’t spray it with water on day 2. And I used the diffuser again

Day 3, I gave up! It’s a lot of work for lackluster results. I brushed my hair into a bun.
