Ghosting

We went on 3 pretty good dates, after each he (24M) asked if he could take me (21F) out again. On our last date we kissed and he said he’d see me this week but I would have to plan the date. So on Monday I reached out for which day would work best. He said Sunday.

I then followed up with a date suggestion and didn’t hear anything back. Which was a bit out of character (but we barely texted in between dates so I wasn’t concerned). Until today, he posts an instagram story, and I send him a message (through texts) basically saying “so I guess we’re not on for Sunday?”. Which he hasn’t responded to either.

I’m ultimately just super confused because he consistently showed interest. Made some plans for this week and just hasn’t responded to any messages. I don’t particularly care he isn’t interested BUT I don’t understand why he wouldn’t just express that and not leave me in limbo! I understand ghosting is suppose to be a clear message but … come on…

I’m considering just texting and saying “if you weren’t interested in me again, the polite thing to do is let me know”.
