Hey guys, first time here and also first time playing the game

It's my first time playing demon's souls, not my first time playing a souls-like game I finished DS2 a few days ago now I want to play demon's souls, any advice or tips i should know before getting into it? I'm playing the PS3 Ver. Also what should I expect when it comes to how difficult is the game? I ran into non-sense hitboxes in DS2 and a lot of gangbangs, but, what about demon's souls? Also in what should I focus in this game
