What do you think about Thailand’s plans to host a Formula 1 race in Bangkok starting in 2028?
Thailand’s Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, recently announced that the country is conducting a feasibility study to host a Formula 1 race in Bangkok from 2028. This is part of a broader strategy to position Thailand as a destination for world-class events and boost tourism.
The government is reportedly considering a street circuit in Bangkok, similar to other urban F1 races. Thailand already hosts MotoGP at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, but this would be their first step into F1.
Do you think a Bangkok F1 race would be successful? What potential challenges or benefits do you see with hosting such a massive event in a busy city like Bangkok?
