Aladdin in Today’s world.
Aladdin has spent his whole life causing troubles. He’s reckless, cocky and always one step away from disaster. His world consists of his one and only best friend. The only reason he hasn’t been expelled is Jin—his best and only friend, who also happens to be the headmaster’s son.
Jasmine, on the other hand, is the definition of high society. Rich, accomplished, competitive to a fault. She walks through the halls like she owns them Because, honestly, her family probably donated half the building. Everyone calls her arrogant, snobby, a little too competitive—but Jasmine doesn’t care. People are annoying. Boys are pathetic. And relationships? A joke.
Jasmine doesn’t tolerate nonsense, especially not when his name is Aladdin. He disrupts her classes, ruins school events, and—most annoyingly—never seems to face consequences. But she’s found a loophole: if teachers won’t punish him, she will. Every prank, every joke, every time he breathes too loudly in her presence—she finds a way to get him in trouble.
He’s a menace. She’s a control freak. It’s war.
But when her so-called friends tease her, claiming no guy could ever put up with her attitude, Jasmine does what any self-respecting, debate-team-dominating, straight-A student would do.
She makes a bet.
One week. One boyfriend. No problem.
So when Jasmine suddenly asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend for a bet, Aladdin thinks it’s a joke. But girls like Jasmine don’t joke. And that’s when it hits him—this is his chance. She’s spent years making his life miserable, and now? Now she needs him.
For once, Jasmine will have to do whatever he says.
But as the days go on, things start to get complicated. Jasmine’s confident exterior starts to crack, and Aladdin begins to wonder if he’s seeing more than just a snobby rich girl. Could she be different than everyone thinks? And what happens when pretending to be her boyfriend starts to feel a little too real for both of them?
It’s a game of pretend, but in the end, who’s really fooling who?
