make up exam

I wasn't able to take my final exam today so I emailed my prof abt it. He said he might be able to let me take a make up exam tomorrow 8am if I had a medical cert so I did an online consult with my doctor in the province and sent him a picture of the medical cert they sent me. Now I'm getting really anxious because he hasn't responded yet and idk if he'll let me take the makeup exam or not. What do i do? Will he not let me take the makeup exam? TT
