I’m perplexed
For Context: I live on a college campus. I’ve dashed before, and I know how vague people can be on their instructions. So, I put the building name, the parking lot number, where the parking lot is when turning onto the street it’s on, what side of the lot I want to meet, and where I will be exactly standing. This dasher ignored my instructions completely and drove past the lot, then when I attempted to instruct them back, they drove past the lot again and turned onto the road leading out before they finally saw me. They turned around someone up the road then finally came back. I get my food, thank the guy who hands me my order (there were two guys in the car), and head inside. I set my food down and pully my phone from my pocket to see the first screenshot. And I’m just like?? Huh?? They had to turn around up the road to come back. It’s not a long road, either (at least, not the way they were turning around from). Luckily, I got the tip credited back to my account as well as $10 in credits from Doordash for the inconvenience. This was more of a rant post than anything.
