What can I do about the dangerous potholes near me?

Only passed my test a month ago and I’m honestly horrified by the potholes near me. Theyre so incredibly deep and often, i get you can drive around them but its sometimes impossible due to the severity of them (and having to go onto the other lane). How can I see about these getting fixed??? If i email my MP will that have any impact 😭 makes me so scared to drive
