Cat s22 ring and notification help??

So I am not very familiar with android, especially not an outdated version of android go, and am very puzzled as to how I can have sound for my incoming calls and not notifications, because it’s all on the same slider. I went deep in the settings and haven’t found anything compelling that actually did what I wanted, they most of the times just either muted my calls which was very annoying and also muted my notifications

Do you know any way I can do that? That would be very appreciated I looked everywhere on google but every answers seems to be about other slightly different versions of android so the menus aren’t the same and aren’t applicable

I’m also having a very weird quirk where the sms notification icon doesn’t show up in my upper bar like half of the times? Also aren’t they supposed to also show up on the back screen alongside calls?

TLTR: I want a way for my incoming calls to ring but for my other notifications to either vibrate or just be a banner. On iOS it is very straightforward which is why I’m having issues here
