How should I watch Evangelion?

I’m about to finish season 1 on Netflix, and since I’m getting recommend to watch the End of Evangelion movie I guess that comes right after, but just to make sure, is there anything between those? Or after? I saw the sticky post luckily so I know there is something more but I won’t be watching it yet since I barely know 3 words in Japanese. But are those movies supposed to be watched prior?
