Did you genuinely love Allah and Muhammed when you were Muslims?

Hi everyone, I am not an ex-Muslim, I hope it's okay for me to post here. I have a strong interest in religions and something that shocks me about Islam is how it's openly stated that Allah created humanity only for us to serve and worship him, and that most of humans are predestined to be tortured forever in hell. I know back when you were Muslims you were supposed to love Allah and Muhammed, but seriously... did you really, genuinely love them? Or did you just have to convince yourself out of fear?

I was raised a Christian and I did genuinely love Jesus as a kid, because he was always portrayed as this loving, caring, compassionate being who died horribly for our sins because he loves us unconditionally and wants us all to go to Heaven and be happy forever. I don't believe in Christianity nowadays, but Jesus is a very likable character and easy to love. Allah on the other hand... he created billions of humans knowing beforehand they would go to hell. He made slaves for himself and made some of them fallible enough so they would fail at their servitude so he could torture them for all eternity. Many of those predestined to hell would be Muslims. Back then you believed it could be yourself or people you loved.

Seriously... do Muslims really feel love towards Allah?
