How does the cash management account work?

Hey all, I just opened up a cash management account and am going to essentially use it as a HYSA for emergency funds.

I’ve put in some money into the account and have selected SPAXX as my core position but it’s still showing 0% gained and I’m not seeing any growth.

Do I have to do a separate investment? It still shows the amount of money in my account as my account buying power.
