My 3 unexpected Onyx Storm MVP’s

I just finished 5 minutes ago and am distraught. Hyperventilating, ugly crying etc. Haven’t cried this hard since I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years a year ago LOL. Anyway still processing everything and want to throw up but 3 people really stood out to me in this book that I didn’t expect:

1) Aaric: Even before the signet reveal, wow!! I liked him in IF but his quiet confidence, bravery, honor and skillset throughout this book was huge. I think he’s going to be huge moving forward and I love him

2) DAIN!!! Did not expect him to become one of my Shayla’s!! Talk about a redemption arc. I am living for his and Sloane’s dynamic, and his line to her about not being venin, being the artery power flows through….that whole scene was one of my favorites of the book.

3) RIDOC. The comic relief we all needed. I need him in my life. I like the larger role he played in this book and I’d die for him. I hope Rebecca never takes him from us
