Allow these fragnances to mature(theoreme rue broca)

Its summer over here and i needed a freshie and got rue broca a month ago. I initially like it but after a week it had this strong detergent smell and then now its soo smooth and i can even go as far as say sexy. Which fragnances surprised you in the long run?
