Am I using him wrong?

Was lucky enough to pack Vieira yesterday (525k pack). I had his thunderstruck card in my team for a couple months and ended up replacing him, as he felt pretty poor on the ball. His intercept was really good, but dribbling and passing felt horrible.

Have played about 20 games with this new one, and he feels better for sure, but still underwhelming. His pinged pass is really nice, but honestly can barely tell the difference between him and a couple 50-100k CDMs I have. Absolutely can’t see him being worth over 6M.

Am I using him wrong? Does he absolutely need to be a CM on Box to Box or something? Any input appreciated.
