Went to a golf show yesterday and finally bought irons that were made in this century.

Context: Have been playing casually since I was a kid. Got hand-me-down Cobra oversized irons that were my grandfather's after he died in the mid 90s. But always shot 100-105 per 18 holes.

Earlier this year, I got fitted for the first time, mainly just know what works for me. Then I got the itch to buy irons after that because I wanted something that I can work with and can call my own. What I got suggested at GG was Elyte irons and driver.

Friend and I go to a golf show yesterday, and saw 5-AW irons for $460 and pulled the trigger. Now I just need to figure out how to build the woods and hybrids for my bag. The only downside of the purchase was the lie of the irons may not be what I need, but I just needed something new overall.
