Cleveland Hybird broken after hitting a range ball
I was at the range yesterday and was hitting balls, like I do a few times a week.
A small amount of the range balls are damaged, missing chunks out of them etc, and I hit my hybrid, felt pure, but the sound was really off, just assumed the range ball was damaged.
I looked down and saw that my club was completely broken. I had been hitting the hybrid quite a bit, with no issue the same range session.
Could my club have gone brittle over a cold winter in my garage? Or is it most likely that the club was already damaged and finally gave out? I had not noticed any damage prior to this.
Has anyone had this issue with Cleveland before?
For reference, I’ve had this club about 18 months, bought second hand and have quite religiously used it at both the range and on the course ever since. The club clearly isn’t in the best of condition, purchased at 6 head condition.
