Does anyone else love 39/Smooth's shitty recording quality?

It doesn't sound well-produced like in Dookie, but instead it sounds like something they recorded in their basement using cheap equipment. I love it. I find it funny that you can't really tell if the album is played in standard or half-step-down. It's like something in between. Anyone else appreciate the sound like I do?
