How does this work for other people?

How do others split up the responsibilities at home when one parent works outside of the home and the other homeschools? I'm married with 3 kids and have been homeschooling for 6 years. I do just about everything expect work outside the home. I'm just curious if it all falls onto one person for others as well. Alot of the things I do I don't mind and enjoy doing...but sometimes I think about ALL that i do and feel like I should have more help. I do ask for help often but things never get done without me doing it for example things like pressure washing the driveway and yard work are just a couple things that are his job that i end up doing or it will never get done. Im getting burnt out and even a lil resentful of the situatuon. If i worked outside the home and kids were in public school we would share the other responsibilities. Is homeschooling not a big enough job to be treated the same? What is it like for everyone else?
