Help, need advice on my boobie cactus.

Hi friends! I’ve had these two cacti for four years, and I love them so much. They’ve gotten sunburnt in the past, but recently I’ve noticed this browning at the base. It’s not squishy and more prominent on one side. Do you think it’s corking because it’s so tall?
