Thoughts on E Collars?

I am trying to teach my 8 (almost 9) month husky to walk off leash, and I am thinking about getting one of those e collars for her that beep, vibrate, etc. Anyone have any thoughts on them? I’ve heard some mixed things about it and wanted to see if it was worth it before I invest. Also I will take any tips for off leash training. Thank you!
