Eating with (what feels like) a scarcity complex

I have been doing a 20:4 fasting. I usually eat a good amount of food (I haven’t counted the calories exactly however so I’m not sure how much exactly) during that 4 hour window, to the point where I am almost uncomfortably full. I eat for the most part healthy, but I feel I eat a lot because I know I’m going to be fasting for 20 hours and I sort of have a scarcity complex of not having food for that time. Is this the proper way to do IF? Does anyone relate?
