Getting Wealthy Vs Staying Wealthy

I'm currently reading The Psychology of Money and getting some good insights. Here's what I've just read about staying wealthy:

1. More than wanting big returns, yern to be financially unbreakable. Basically learning to stay in the game long enough to enjoy good returns.
2. The most important part of planning is planning on the plan not going according to plan. Be flexible and have some room for error in case things don't play out according to your plan.
3. Be optimistic about the future but paranoid about what will prevent you from getting the future. Short-term paranoia to enjoy the long-term optimism.
