How much did Kangs & mammoths cost in 1998? (Econ analysis in progress)

I'm trying to figure out just how much today's JNCOS are "overpriced," economically speaking. I clearly remember $50 Lowdowns and pipes back in 1996-97 but never remember seeing price tags on the bigger fits. I'm going to assume that 90s pricing was "fair" based on the quantity of denim and embroidery. That will tell us what a fair, adjusted price would be in 2024.
