Anyone still buying books from Amazon even though we can’t download the file to keep?

I thought long and hard about whether to keep buying Amazon ebooks after they took away the download function last month, but I decided to continue to buy their ebooks.

I have never had a problem with any of my ebooks suddenly going missing from my digital library and I plan to purchase physical copies of the books I absolutely want to keep forever in addition to the digital copy.

I purchased my first ebook off of Amazon in 2014 and have been building my digital library ever since. Unless some of my digital books start suddenly disappearing from my collection, I will keep buying ebooks off of Amazon.

Anyone else make the same or similar decision?
