[KCD2] 100 hours deep and my save is completely gone.

I know "a lot" of people have accidentally overwritten their save/playline in KCD2 after putting in some serious hours. We can all blame the game design to make it possible to do so without any pop up warning, but that won`t bring back OUR story. I had been waiting for so long to play it that i dove head first into the game and totally immersed myself in the story and the world, but now i really don't want anything to do with the game.. I guess i'll find out in a couple of months-years when i pick it up again. Bloody shame.

I have spent the last 6 hours trying to retrieve my save with no luck. I realized too late that there was a possibility to do so even tho the steam cloud had wiped it and replaced it with a fresh save. But i took a few steps wrong in the process and lost them altogether. I will still give it a GOTY shout.
