Selling our house and the only negative feedback is the kitchen :(

Hi everyone! Title pretty much explains it! We are selling our house after 6 years. We put in a TON of work but the kitchen seems to be the big sticking point. Pic of our kitchen.

Kitchen continued to become a low priority for us as we focused on other major needs and it’s completely livable.

Here’s the work we did for the past 6 years: New roof New boiler New hot water tank New Sceptic system with 97% clean water filtration New water tank and house filter New attic insulation New attic door New 2400 sq ft driveway New ductless system New front door New fire rated kitchen to garage door New fencing around the yard Upgraded electrical system with generator hookup Upgraded piping and electrical wiring for the house New waste line Added French drains Added sump pump Added a full, finished basement (1221 sq ft) with 4th bedroom, office, 2nd bathroom and kitchenette Removed trees and bushes Updated bedroom closets with new rods and shelving Added 120 sq ft foundation in backyard for sheds

This house was an estate sale that was a total gut job and we happily did that. Now the frustrating thing seems to be the fact that every potential buyer is “hung up” on our outdated kitchen. One of the feedback a buyer stated was “they didn’t so many new things but they couldn’t upgrade the kitchen?” It’s so frustrating as, again, it became a low priority when everything else in this house needed to be updated.

Should we bite the bullet and update the kitchen? Any feedback would be great!
