I don’t get the Vignesh Shivan hate

I know some people hate him because of some stuff that happened in events, interviews, his Ig and all but I’m solely talking about him as a director.

Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of tweets saying LIK might flop only because of Vignesh Shivan. I thought he’s a good commercial director, no? I personally liked all his films except TSK. Felt like it could’ve been way better but I liked KRK and I also remember liking Poda Podi back then. And I’m pretty sure everyone likes NRD.

I think maybe most of the hate comes from all the dramas that’s been happening around him But I think he’s a great commercial director plus an amazing lyricist too
