[TX] Drug Paraphernalia for Medical THC Prescribed by Doctor?

Received a letter and court date for possession of drug paraphernalia, but I am registered with the state of TX to receive medical cannabis through my doctor.

I called the included phone number and the judge picked up. She confirmed it was for gummies and oils that I have a RX for.

I let her know over the phone the products are part of the Texas Compassionate Use Program through the state and DPS. Everything is clearly labeled with my doctor’s name and information.

She mentioned I could send her my doctor’s information and a copy of my prescriptions, but she did not agree that she would dismiss the case if I provide this information.

I requested records from the police, they sent photos showing the products, my doctors name is clearly visible.

How can I request a dismissal of my case and have it expunged from my record? Is there any way I can do this without hiring a lawyer? I don’t know that I can afford one.

Also, the RX my doctor sent me includes a lot of personal information about my diagnosis, emergency contacts, etc. Should I block out / redact it before sending it over to the judge?
