No eyed girl and when he died theory

I think the 2 dudes are the same guy.

1. Dead guy had a message that said when he died an untold age of chaos will descend, no eyed lover let the no eyed people in who cause our matter to scatter (very chaotic)
2. they never found dead guys skull, this is because he died by kissing the no eyed girl and his skull was eviscerated
3. All the rituals and stuff were probably him doing his best to summon the no eyed girl
4. I don't think his wife is real, or shes a ghost that he sacrificed while she was alive in order to bring him closer to the no eyed girl
5. the painting of the clown could be when he first learned of the no eyed girl and fell in love. He had just figured out the ritual needed some stars or whatever to be aligned and wrote the date he would go on his first date with the no eyed girl

Additional bit on his wife and kids, he probably faked being in love with her to have kids with her (children and especially first borns are very important for rituals)
