Range etiquette - do you tip?

When do you tip at the range? I went to the range for the first time today. I was there over 2 hours, rented a lane and several guns to compare, and signed up for a class next month. Staff was great, gave me lots good info and recommendations... Checkout screen asked for a tip! Would you have tipped?
