Quick impressions of BenQ ma27ou

I just received the ma27ou for my M1 Pro. I was trying to justify the studio display but this one caught my eye and I got it from Amazon for $450, knowing that I can expand to a second screen if needed and still come in well below the studio display.

Aesthetics- this feels like a Mac product with the silver and black. Very nice and blends well.

Features- wow- the fact that I can control brightness and sync with my laptops color via their display software is incredible! My biggest concern was scaling but, much like betterdisplay, the benq software will enable high dpi mode for all resolutions! I’m a stickler for crisp text as I’m reviewing documents all day and I cannot see a perceivable difference between this and my 4k 24 inch monitor which I had at 1080p

I can’t speak highly enough about this monitor. It’s a perfect compliment to my Mac and I’m very happy with my decision.

Happy to answer any questions!
