Your first experience with heavy music

About me: When I was 12 I saw music video by Evanescence on TV. I thought that heavy music is for crazy people but I felt so much energy from that music. I got really interested in other popular bands like System of a Down, Linkin Park, Korn. I feel like it changed my personality even. Also finding something like "my place" helped me mentally somehow.
