What do you guys think about Minho being mean to Kitty at the beginning of season 1?

Obviously it makes sense because it’s enemies to lovers. But at the same time when anyone says this I generally have no answer.

These are my two takes on this.

Firstly, it’s because that’s who Minho is he has his guard up while talking to new people. That’s why he was kinda mean to Peter at first.

Secondly, I think it’s because he was trying to protect Dae. Everyone was calling Kitty Dae’s penpal, and Dae also mentioned that he was kinda embarrassed to date Kitty because he wasn’t rich. So he lied to Kitty about being rich. So maybe he didn’t tell everyone that he’s dating Kitty. From Minho point of view Kitty and Dae never dated and Kitty was this crazy girl who was trynna come between his best friend’s relationship. So that’s why he got a little overprotective over Dae.

But I don’t yet have a solid reason for why he was soo mean to her.
