Am I about to make a stupid choice?

I’m looking at a 2014 gsxr600 to buy as my second bike and the price is pretty good at 6250 for 8k miles. There are a few things wrong with it like bad fairings which I would replace and scuff from a drop but there are also things that are really making me question whether it’s worth it. For one, there is a pretty deep scrap on the front rim from fuck knows what. Is this a safety concern because I don’t give a shit if it looks like that as long as it won’t kill me. Replacing it would not be worth it if it need to go.

The other thing that has me is the fact that it has 3+ owners plus me if I buy.

Any advice for buying or if it’s worth it?
