Places to go in Mumbai in this heat?

Visiting my brother for 5 days in thane. Might be going to matheran or lonavala. We have a 6 months old old baby so just looking for some suggestions if we should go to lonavala or matheran in this heat? Or if there are any other places to go instead of those. We just want to beat the heat and have some fun.
