Zecora’s eyes - A mystery?

This is probably a trivial detail with no sole purpose to it, but I’m curious as to why Zecora’s eyes glow yellow when her irises are actually blue-ish. Is there some sort of lore to this, or is this simply the result of the“glowy yellow eyes = mysterious evil character” trope?
