I don't care about the Analogue3D at all. Am I alone in this?

So look, I'm not trying to be a downer or anything. I suppose there will be at least a few people who get an Analogue3D who don't have an N64 or various upscaler things. And they will enjoy their Analogue3D. And that's great!

But I feel generally, most people in this sub, already own a Nintendo 64 with numerous games, if not flash carts that can play pretty much every game, including randomizers, romhacks and mods. And many people in this sub also probably have things like Retrotinks, HDMI converters and other upscalers, to play the games in 1080p or 4k, if that's what they so desire.

But generally, most N64 purists will want to play on a CRT in 360i, since that's the way the games were intended.

Personally, I still have my childhood N64, all or most of my games, and even have numerous CRTs lying around from my family home which I've taken into my care and possession. I could be assuming incorrectly, but I feel that fits the bill of most people on this subreddit.

I'm just not getting the hype about the Analogue3D, and I find it very overblown. I'm not sure if a lot of people are just actually super, super excited it about it. Or if there is some astroturfing going on from the company making these. It's really not that big of a deal. It's just another third-party thing that will maybe make it somewhat easier to play N64. The experience might not even be that good. We don't know yet.
