Recurring Pericarditis?

Has anyone had issues with recurring pericarditis? I'm (35M) 3.5 months post OHS for valve repair and ascending aortic aneurysm graft. I've now had pericarditis three times: week two (given anti-inflammatory for a week and it went away), week 6 (a month of anti-inflammatory and colchicine, symptoms went away after a few days) and just now week 15 (I caught it early and treated with Aleve, symptoms went away after three days).

I'm waiting for a consultation with a pericarditis specialist. I was very active before the surgery and now I'm stuck resting. It's frustrating because I feel ok but I'm afraid this will be on ongoing battle and keep from being active again or devolve into constructive pericarditis.

Any words of encouragements or shared experiences?
