Are Patent Attorneys allowed to invest in their client’s products/companies?

Might be a silly question. I’ve been watching a lot of Shark Tank lately and start my college education in Physics on the road to become a PA, and was wondering if it’s legal. If so, is that a common thing in the Patent Law world to invest in inventors?
