Goodbye patientgamers and thanks for all the fish!

Hey r/patientgamers, just wanted to say thanks for being pretty awesome sub for me for a few years.

I found a lot of like-minded people when I first this sub and it really helped me shed my anxiety about not finishing games and constantly being sucked into new releases.

I now am a fully fledge patient gamer, casually and calmly playing through my backlog, almost completely ignorant of the stream of new games until they're at least a half dozen months old. I had honestly gotten to the point where I was leaning away from gaming purely because I felt I had wasted so much money on games I wasn't really giving the time they needed as something new snatched away my attention.

So thank you for being such a great sub, when I needed this community.

I'll admit, this post is largely self serving, mostly a closure of sorts. As time moves on and it seems most of what I see posted here recently are salty reviewers, trash talk and hate-training. Hopefully its a temporary change, but regardless I've realized I've gotten what I needed here so I'm off to greener pastures for my gaming communities. Thanks for the laughs, amazing recommendations and thoughtful reviews.

Happy gaming to all of you!
