PRT buses making turns

You know our roads are fucked when PRT buses have to pull 2/3rds of the way into the oncoming lane in order to make their turn. How many times have you had to throw it in reverse at a red light (not even pulled up too far) so that a PRT bus could make its turn? If the cars behind you don’t back up too, is it PRT policy to just hit the car in the other lane? You’d have to completely redo 90% of our roads to fix the problem so this is 100% a complaint that offers no solution, but I have a feeling that others have shared in my irritation.
