I thought this was overrated,Does anyone agree with this

I've seen 5 episodes of this that too on someone's recommendation before this show blew up in India .. I felt like direction was sub par and acting was bad ... And some things I can't over see watching a series or a movie . Anyone else felt the same after watching some episodes of this
