Too much pokemon?

Anyone have this issue where they have way too much pokemon in their inventory and its almost too much to manage? I like to keep ones where i got some during vacation or during gofests. I have up to 1,800 currently and i dread having to transfer and go through everything. I wonder if anyone else has this issue?
