Is a warning worth contesting?

The other day I was pulled over for an illegal lane change as I went from a stop at an intersection through the traffic light. I thought the officer was incorrect (but wasn't 100% sure)...and I obviously wasn't going to argue with him. However, after circling back around to the spot in question I confirmed that I had, in fact, proceeded lawfully.

The officer was very polite and professional (nice, even), and he only gave me a warning that he said was "no points or fees" but it would "go into their system." Not sure exactly what that means, hence why I'm here. Do I bother disputing this or just let it go?
