How tf do you not die immediately

I am begging. I've watched hours from this game and they make it looks so easy but I cant even crouch walk from one house to the next without a hoard finding me somehow and immediately killing me 😭

Please. I am begging on my knees, how do you all do this 😭 is love this game but holy shit I feel stupid
