How do you make random choices?

Hi everyone,

I am currently watching the most recent episode of Beast Games. The train tracks one. I keep thinking, as with many of the games so far. The fairest and most respectful thing to do (therefore the thing that would ultimatwly make you the most trustworthy) is to make pure random choices when picking contestants to eliminate etc etc.

Is there a method to make a purely random choice? (i.e. like a random number generator) without any equipment? Or just by using people in general? I bet there is a good one that is well known, I am just kot clever enough to know of it!!
