Is it pointless reading job reviews?

They all say the same thing: "ugh bad management. bah i feel like a slave. agh stressful schedule. ergh bad atmosphere. boo bad pay. all the good reviews are fake. Don't work for this company. You deserve better. RUN FOR THE DAMN HILLS!!!!"

I loathe reading these comments so much that I've become obsessed with them. When literally every job experience is like that, I don't think I can find "better". At that point, you're not telling me not to work for this company, you're telling me not to work at all.

I don't go to a job expecting to have fun and be treated well. I just want to get money. That's the purpose. Should I stop reading job reviews? They truly seem pointless.

The only good ones I've read are about volunteer jobs, because people don't do those ones out of needing money, but because they want to help and/or gain experience.
