Possible scam? Sambodromo tickets.
Hey everyone! I'm traveling to Rio de Janeiro for Carnival in the Sambodromo next week with some friends, and we bought our Rio Carnival tickets via the Quentro app, which we have used previously for events like a Coldplay show in Argentina without any problems. The main issue that looks suspicious is that we received an email stating that in order to provide us with the tickets, they need personal information such as passport numbers, and to be honest, it looks weird. I would like to know if anyone has traveled to Rio's Carnival before and encountered this situation or something similar. We are given the option to collect the tickets manually on the spot, but still, I would appreciate it if you could check this and tell me what you think. Thank you in advance!
